For that matter, Tel-Aviv is blessed by some awesome bakeries, offering a wide range of dough-based dreams. It even gets better during the Jewish holidays, when you can find special pastries like Sufganiyot (the Jewish version for donuts) and beautiful Challah for Shabbat.

1. Boulangerie 96

The best croissant in town, hands down

This place is every pastry-lover’s dream. The small space is operated by the highly acclaimed pastry chef Eran Schwartzbard and his partner Urian Avidan. Here you can find delicious hot focaccias all day long, flowing constantly from the back of the steamy kitchen, alongside excellent breads, all made with different kinds of flour. Still need more convincing? Their fresh baguettes and great cakes and cookies will do the talking for us.

In addition, you can sit in their cafe and enjoy some exquisite moments of great coffee and a great pastry to compliment the whole experience.

The main branch is big and you just can’t dodge the wonderful smell of great breads coming from the ovens. Also, you can sit on place and enjoy some nice breakfast or a nice cup of coffee and excellent pastry to make your day just perfect, or at least tasty.
