Baggage and seat policy ​

  • Subject to the provisions of law, in the event of change/cancellation of the additional services (including laggage and seating) after their purchase, no refund will be made and the passenger will be liable for full payment for such services
  • The purchase of the product/service will be completed only after receipt of payment confirmation. It is important to verify that you have received this confirmation. You may be required to present it to an airline representative before receiving the product/service.
  • Price of checked baggage is $35 instead of $70 at the airport, up to 3 hours before the flight.
  • Seat selection does not include front, preferred and Economy Seat PLUS. Seating can be booked up to 4 hours prior to your flight.
  • Front seat location varies according to aircraft configuration
  • Seating eligibility may vary depending on seat availability on the selected flight and/or ticket type
  • In the event of a change to the type or configuration of the aircraft, including a change to an aircraft operated by another airline, changes may be made to your seat, in accordance with the conditions of carriage. For seats that entailed a fee, if no alternate seat is found, the payment for the seat will be refunded to the customer.
  • EL AL reserves the right to change the baggage and seating rates from time to time. The determining rate is the rate on the day of payment for the service.

 

​Flight ticket terms​ ​​

  • In case the flight ticket is comprised of two separate price types, the strictest conditions (change and cancelation) will apply. It is hereby clarified that the name of the passenger on the ticket cannot be changed.
  • A handling fee of $50 per person and $15 per infant, for ticket changes handled by the EL AL call center/EL AL offices will apply.
  • Should you wish to change your ticket, and the originally purchased fare or booking class is not available for your new flights, difference of fare will be collected on top of the change fee (if the rule permits changes).
  • It is hereby clarified that the full ticket conditions will be subject to the final terms as they appear upon the purchase of the flight ticket.
