Spring is a mild season in Haifa with temperatures varying from around 66 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit (20-25 degrees Celsuis) . During the night, temperatures can drop to the low 50s or 60s (10-15 degrees Celsuis). There isn’t much rainfall in Haifa during the spring months, with just one to two inches of rain expected in March, an inch in April and less than a quarter of an inch in May. Springtime is a great season to visit Haifa, since the beautiful flowers in the city’s gardens are in full bloom.

Haifa has a large number of sunny days in the summer, and the city generally gets no rain at all during June, July and August. The daily temperature in June averages out at around 83 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsuis), while July and August are Haifa’s warmest months, with average temperatures up in the high 80s. Haifa’s coastline often experiences summer heat waves with temperatures reaching right up into the 90s (32 degrees Celsuis). The cool breezes that come in from the Mediterranean however often keep hot days comfortable.

The autumn weather in Haifa is mild and there’s a little more rain around. Daily high temperatures in September are still high at around 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsuis), while in October highs drop to around 79 degrees (25 degrees Celsuis). November temperatures are still warm in the mid 70s with morning lows ranging from the upper 50s. There’s just a spot of rain in September, an inch in October and in November heaven’s finally open and Haifa gets up to four inches of much-awaited rain.

Winter is the wettest season by far with an average seven inches of rainfall during December and January. In February there’s about four inches of rain. During winter temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsuis) on most days, with average morning lows in the 50s. Mountain locations can get cold though with temperatures down to the 40s and frost can be experienced occasionally in winter.
