- Point Accumulation from Flights
For the first time: 20% additional basic points on EL AL flights as well as UP flights - Point Accumulation from FLY CARD PREMIUM credit card
Up to 20% of points accrued from FLY CARD PREMIUM credit card are counted towards an upgrade to the next premium tier, according to the following breakdown:
Silver Matmid member: up to 200 points will be converted for a tier upgrade
Gold Matmid member: up to 300 points will be converted for a tier upgrade
Platinum Matmid member: up to 400 points will be converted for a tier upgrade
Top Platinum Matmid member: up to 500 points will be converted for a tier upgrade -
Upgrades
Priority in upgrades to premium customers who are entitled to a
last minute upgrade will now be determined by the following parameter, in descending order as of November 16, 2014
1. Tier
2. Flight ticket fare
3. FLY CARD PREMIUM credit card holders
4. number of points
5. Matmid Club membership seniority
The criteria for priority in the list of those entitled to a reduced price last minute upgrade until November 15, 2014:
1. Member’s tier.
2. Type of flight ticket.
3. The number of Basic Points the member amassed during the previous 12 months from EL AL and/or UP flights only (Basic Points).
4. Matmid Club membership seniority.
Frequent Flyer club members holding a
Fly Card Premium credit card receive a preferred seat or a seat in Economy Class Plus without payment, based on availability, at the airport priority for receiving a preferred seat / a seat in Economy Class Plus based on availability will be done in accordance with the time of the request made by the club member to receive the seat at the check in counter at the airport.
Purchase of part of the plane ticket for points (combination of money + points)
1. 10% discount on your first purchase at EL AL Duty Free on the Plane for those who join during the flight
2. Standing 5% discount at EL AL Duty Free on the Plane at the time of debit. Top Platinum members are entitled to the discount by virtue of their tier
To purchase EL AL Duty Free items online
50% discount on payment for one additional piece of luggage in Economy Class, beyond entitlement. The discount will be given for payment in money or points.
