​Tier Point Accrual

Easier to reach, easier to maintain

We’ve reduced the required number of points for reaching/renewing a premium tier.


 


 


 

In addition, FLY CARD PREMIUM credit card holders have even more options for reaching a premium tier:

  • 20% additional point accrual on EL AL and UP flights counted towards attaining or renewing a premium tier
  • And for the first time, up to 20% of the points you earn on your credit card count for attaining or renewing a premium tier


 

Annual accumulation of points or of points combined with flight segments to receive/renew status:

The accrued points required for renewing or receiving a premium tier status are Basic Points, earned from EL AL flights, UP flights and FLY CARD PREMIUM Credit Card activity/purchases during 12 months.
For renewal of Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Top Platinum status, your account is reviewed over a period of 12 consecutive months prior to the date of that the status is received.
For Silver tier upgrade  your account is reviewed daily for a period of 12 consecutive months prior to the date that the status upgrade review is performed.

Holders of the FLY CARD PREMIUM Credit Card receive 20% additional Basic Points for EL AL flights and UP flights (in addition to the points added for status) which are counted for the renewal or award of premium status.
Up to 20% of credit points accumulated on the FLY CARD PREMIUM Credit Card are counted for renewal or award of premium status.

  • Silver members: Up to 200 points during one year
  • Gold members: Up to 300 points during one year
  • Platinum members: Up to 400 points during one year
  • Top Platinum members: Up to 500 points during one year

Benefits for FLY CARD and FLY CARD PREMIUM credit card holders are intended for customers with Israeli bank accounts, subject to the conditions applying to the benefits and Matmid Frequent Flyer Club regulations and rules.
