FLY CARD/FLY CARD PREMIUM holders enjoy a regular 5% discount on duty free shopping on board EL AL planes when their credit cards are charged.





As of February 10, 2015, Frequent Flyer members shall have to utilize a minimum of 80 Frequent Flyer points when preordering purchase vouchers for duty free products on board EL AL planes.

Point accrual for purchases of duty free items on the plane will be updated as of February 10, 2015

$350 and up 70 points and up 1 point for every $5

  • Points can be earned for purchases of duty free items on the plane of $75 and up

  • Points can be earned for purchases of duty free items on the plane of $50 and up

General
  • The points earned are considered Extra Points
  • Based on the conversion rate in the above tables, if the total number of points earned from purchases includes a decimal point, the amount will be rounded down
  • Conditional on presentation of a Matmid Club card when purchasing on the plane
  • Points will not be earned on upgrades, products that are part of special deals or service products (such as Preferred Seat)
  • Points earned on a product that was later returned to EL AL will be canceled
  • Subject to Matmid Club regulations and rules as published on the EL AL website
  • Errors and omissions excepted

Top Platinum members are entitled to a 5% discount on duty free shopping on board EL AL planes by virtue of their status. For customers with an Israeli bank account.
