EL AL enables you to enjoy the experience of premium Class service and purchase an upgrade, even in the course of your flight.

On flights in which seats are available in the premium Classes, you can purchase an upgrade to Premium Class*, to Business Class and enjoy the wonderful pampering experience and special comforts offered by the flight crew in premium Classes.

Short and medium Routes - flights whose duration is up to 5.5 hours

  • The price is per flight segment
  • No Matmid Club points will be earned on upgrades purchased during the flight.
  • Aircraft upgrade grants a higher class seating and service but does not affect ticket terms and conditions (baggage, ticket changes, etc.). If an extra meal is available in the upgraded booking class the passenger may receive it; alternatively, they will be served the original meal
  • departing to Kiev, Budapest, Larnaca, Prag, and Berlin from terminal 1   (No access to the King David Lounge).
  • ​​​We are happy to welcome you onboard one of our service classes: Business Class, Premium Class and Economy Class (on relevant aircraft and flights).​
