Summer in Tel Aviv
Summers in Tel Aviv are hot, with temperatures of between 80 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (35 Celsius). For this reason if you’re planning on traveling here during May to September prepare to invest in good sun protection and bring clothes suitable for the heat. It can get very humid too, with up to 90 percent humidity, especially during the months of July and August.
At these times one of the best things you can do is head to the beach for a dip in order to cool down. The good news is that air-conditioning is everywhere, in hotels, shopping malls and in taxis, so it’s easy to keep your cool. The summer provides ample opportunity for evenings at the beachside at one of the many café’s bars and restaurants, since temperatures make sitting out a comfortable experience.
Fall in Tel Aviv
Autumn in Tel Aviv is a short season and the weather stays pleasant and warm, however there may be some rain towards the end of November and the nights will get cooler. During the winter months temperatures range from around 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit (5 to 15 degrees Celsius) which is pretty mild, but the beaches are definitely out of season. You may need an umbrella just in case, since it doesn’t rain too often in Tel Aviv but when it does you’ll know about it.
Spring in Tel Aviv
Spring is an ideal time to visit Tel Aviv, since it isn’t too hot but the skies are clear. Temperatures vary from around 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 25 degrees Celsius), so you can enjoy time at the beach without worrying overly much about burning. If you plan on visiting in April remember to book in advance since everywhere gets fully booked for Passover.
