The transportation of dangerous goods by air has long become an integral part of the commercial air industry.
Dangerous goods are defined as articles or substances that may pose a risk to humans or the environment, and which are defined as dangerous in the "Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air" which is an official publication of ICAO.
Dangerous goods training (basic and refreshers) are held at the EL-AL training center at Ben Gurion airport, which is one of the few CAAI certified schools for dangerous goods training in Israel, and are being conducted by a certified dangerous goods instructor.
This training covers all categories as required by law, so that anyone dealing with or handling dangerous goods (clients, exporters, importers, manufacturers, forwarders and airline employees) may find here the most tailor-made training suited for his/her needs.
At the end of each training session there is a mandatory final exam that the attendees will have to pass in order to be awarded the certificate which is valid for 2 years.
