Romano honored by Dun & Bradstreet Israel

New York, NY - March 6, 2008 - EL AL, Israel’s national airline, is proud to announce that Haim Romano, President of EL AL Israel Airlines, has been honored as one of the Top Ten Israeli Business Leaders for 2008 by Dun & Bradstreet Israel.  Mr. Romano was chosen from a list of 300 candidates who are all well respected CEO’s of leading companies in Israel.

The selection was based on a number of rigorous criteria, such as outstanding management skills and long-term excellence, leadership and charisma, strategic overview and vision as well as the substantial influence on the Israeli economy, their company and in the field in which they work.  Also judged were their impressive achievements, extraordinary business innovations and initiatives as well as the promotion of social and cultural activities in Israel.

Haim Romano was appointed President of EL AL in March of 2005 as EL AL completed the privatization process.  He is based at the EL AL head office in Tel Aviv, Israel.
