(Highlights of the Tour)



Day 1: Caesarea, Haifa, Sea of Galilee and Tiberias

- Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel
- Persian Hanging Gardens, the Springs of Elijah, Muhraqa
- Tiberias nestled on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus performed many miracles

Day 2: Galilee - Capernaum – Cana and Nazareth

- Ride in a replica of a Galilian fishing boat of that time on the Sea of Galilee
- Capernaum - the center of Jesus' ministry after He left Nazareth
- Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes
- Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount
- St. Peter's house and the Church of Primacy of Peter
- Cana where Jesus performed His first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast
- Nazareth - the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph
- Basilica of Annunciation where Archangel Gabriel appeared to Mary to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus

Day 3: Jordan Valley – Jerico – Jerusalem

- Yardenit - the traditional Baptismal site
- Quarantal
- New City of Jerusalem

Day 4: Bethlehem – Ein Karem

- Church of Nativity, the birth place of Jesus and the City of David
- Manger Square, Shepherd field Crusaders Cloister Grotto of St. Jerome, and Rachel’s Tomb
- Ein Karem – the city of Judah and the birthplace of John the Baptist
- Church of Visitation
- Mt. Zion
- Cenacle – the room of the Last Supper and the Tomb of David

- House of Caiaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned

Day 5: Qumran – Dead Sea

- Bethany – House of Mary and Martha and Lazarus’ Tomb
- Swim in the Dead Sea - the lowest point on earth, whose buoyant water is rich in minerals
- Qumran – the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.


Day 6: Old City of Jerusalem

- Church of the Ascension, which commemorates the ascent of Jesus to Heaven
- The Pater Noster Church where Jesus gave his disciples the Lord’s prayer
- Chapel of Domimius Flevit, where Jesus wept over the imminent destruction of Jerusalem
- Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed while Judas betrayed him to the Romans
- Basilica of the Agony (Church of All Nations)
- Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed the crippled man
- Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief) – The last route trodden by Jesus
- 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified
- Pilate’s Judgement Hall
- The Chapel of the Flagellation, where Roman soldiers placed a crown of thorns on His head
- Ecce Homo Arch and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion
- Lithostrotos, where Jesus was publicaly tried and mocked by the Romans
- Church of the Holy Sepulcher
- The Tomb – widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb
- Jaffa to see the house of Simon the Tanner

Day 7: Depart Tel Aviv
