EL AL COMMITS TO THE FUTURE

Toronto, July 19, 2006 – EL AL is committed to maintain its position as a market leader on flights from Canada to Israel.  During the current situation EL AL is being extremely flexible understanding the needs of the market and responding accordingly. All efforts have been made to allow flexibility with regards to the travel plans of people who wish to travel to  and from Israel in the coming days.

In regards to the future, EL AL’s winter schedule from Toronto will see 4 times per week non-stop flights from Toronto to Tel Aviv on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Haim Romano, President and CEO of EL AL Israel Airlines stated “to further emphasize the commitment of this organization to the Canadian market we have assigned the improved 767, featuring our “5 Star” business class, improved service, peace-of-mind, and the best schedule possible.”

EL AL continues to boost tourism by offering special hotel and air packages for September and October including flights and 5 nights hotel, based on double occupancy starting at $1250 per person.
